~ Sleep more. When the body is rested, it’s better able to cope with stressful situations and the emotions connected with it.
~ Eat a balanced diet. Eating a clean diet and avoiding excess sugar and processed foods will improve the mind and body.
~ Slow your Roll. Slow down. Take time to enjoy activities, friends and family and leisure time.
~ Relax and/or meditate. Take some quiet time for yourself to breathe and calm your mind, even for five minutes a day. This will help with overall healing. An option to also help you relax is to take a hot bath with scented candles and/or a glass of wine to help take the edge off and relax the muscles.
